Kanjiramkulam Grama Panchayat Kanjiramkulam Grama Panchayat actively participates in Operation Toofan 2.0. Special Toofan Grama Sabhas will be convened in all wards of the panchayat. Strong vigilance committees will be formed across all wards.

As part of Operation Toofan 2.0, year-long anti-drug community initiatives are being implemented in Kanjiramkulam Grama Panchayat.

Through Toofan Grama Sabhas, a ward-level force of at least 25 members per ward will become part of the Ward Vigilance Committee.

Panchayat staff, public representatives, Haritha Karma Sena, Kudumbashree workers, students, ASHA & Anganwadi workers, teachers, and pensioners will serve as volunteers.

Special reporting systems will be established for drug sale, distribution, and usage details. Community defense mechanisms will target hotspots.

Anti-drug clubs in educational institutions under the panchayat limit will function as "Toofan Anti-Drug Clubs".

🚨 Rehabilitation & Aftercare
- The Panchayat is committed to ensuring rehabilitation facilities including counseling, treatment, de-addiction services, and psychological & family support for victims of drug abuse.
- Identification of de-addiction centers and vulnerable families will be carried out with the help of Kudumbashree and Haritha Karma Sena workers.
- Toofan Care Committees, comprising psychologists, de-addiction specialists, and medical officers, will ensure continuous follow-up care.
- Special Toofan Aftercare Centers will be set up to prevent relapse into drug addiction.
